Stage Experience - Sophie Bestwick
Sophie is 15 years old and in Year 11 at Cleeve School. She enjoys all aspects of theatre as she discovered when she undertook her work experience at the Roses Theatre earlier this year. Her main love is performing and she has been involved in various productions at school, Stagecoach Theatre Arts (attended since the age of 5) and Theatres.
As a member of the school Senior Choir, Sophie recently got the chance to perform in Barcelona. As a member of the Performance Troupe of Stagecoach Sophie competed in Festival 4 Stars in 2009 and became Nation Champions in the Musical Theatre Section.
Some past experiences include: Peter Karrie and Friends (Bacon Theatre), The Carpenters UK (Palace Theatre, Redditch), Jesus Christ Superstar, Half a Sixpence, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Turandot and Aida (Everyman Theatre). Westenders and six pantomimes: Sleeping Beauty, Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beats, Cinderella and Dick Whittington (Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury).
